2015 ACP DC Chapter MVP Award!!
In its final meeting of the year, the Washington DC Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) presented the Chapter’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award to Brenda Brown-Paul, Secretary for the Chapter. In accordance with the ACP National’s Most Valuable Player Award Program, the Award is designed to recognize a single individual within the Chapter who has gone above and beyond to assist the Chapter, ACP National, the disaster preparedness community and business continuity practices in general.
Brenda as a certified business continuity manager is the owner of “Be Perpetual,” a business consultancy in Maryland. She has spent over 25 years in the IT field, with a focus on Business & Service Continuity Management and has worked with several Fortune 500 companies as a government contractor as well as with small companies. Brenda has served on the ACP DC Board off and on for the past six years, serving as IT Director, Education Director and now Secretary.
